Application Support Engineer – Manufacturing Systems

Location: Liberty, NC | Hybrid
Type: Contract | Experience: 3+ years

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer with experience supporting MES/MOM, SCADA, and manufacturing applications in a production environment.

Must-Have Skills

  • Siemens Opcenter MOM / MES experience
  • Ignition SCADA – Gateway, Vision, Perspective
  • Manufacturing application L2/L3 production support
  • SQL queries & stored procedures
  • Troubleshooting, incident management & RCA
  • Manufacturing workflows, traceability, genealogy, OEE
  • Experience with 24x7 manufacturing operations
  • REST APIs / Web Services
  • Basic Python, Java, or scripting
  • Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 support for Siemens Opcenter and Ignition SCADA
  • Troubleshoot application, interface, database, and communication issues
  • Support manufacturing workflows, production execution, genealogy, and traceability
  • Configure workflows, master data, HMI screens, dashboards, alarms, and reports
  • Perform deployments, upgrades, testing, and production cutovers
  • Conduct RCA and improve application stability
  • Create SOPs and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Automation, Engineering, Quality, and IT teams

Preferred

  • Strong Siemens Opcenter experience
  • Manufacturing process knowledge
  • Continuous improvement / Kaizen experience
  • Experience with digital manufacturing initiatives

Travel: Up to 10%
Hours: Standard business hours
