They are seeking to add a skilled Senior Product Safety Engineer to their esteemed engineering delivery team, contributing to critical projects within a supportive and inclusive environment.

The Role

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Safety Management System to ensure robust and compliant safety processes.
• Support the production and upkeep of Project Safety Management Plans, defining activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct hazard and risk identification, management, and assessment, considering environmental and operational factors.
• Contribute to the development of the Project Product Safety Case, preparing reports and technical safety arguments.
• Administer the Project Hazard Log, ensuring all hazards are identified, assessed, and managed.
• Interpret and analyse technical data to support safety activities across various project phases.

What You'll Need

• A Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in product safety hazard and risk identification and management.
• Familiarity with developing and maintaining Safety Management Systems and Safety Cases.
• Ability to interpret and analyse technical data for safety assessments.
• Experience supporting safety activities across design, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and testing phases.
• Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for product safety.
