Job Description

Title                                       :  Tableau Developer with BI
Location                               :  Cincinnati, OH -  Onsite
Duration                              : 6 months
Position                                 :  W2 Position
Rate                                      :$60/hr on W2
Relevant Experience (in Yrs.): 8+
              
Detailed Job Description:
  • 8+ years of experience in Tableau development and Business Intelligence.
  • Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop| Tableau Server/Cloud| dashboards| reports| calculated fields| parameters| LOD expressions| and data visualization.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries| joins| CTEs| stored procedures| and performance optimization.
  • Experience working with insurance/healthcare data| including claims| membership| providers| benefits| premiums| utilization| and financial data.
  • Develop executive and operational dashboards for business stakeholders and leadership.
  • Experience with data modeling| ETL/ELT processes| data warehouses| and large-volume datasets.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare/insurance KPIs such as claims cost| PMPM| utilization| membership| provider performance| medical loss ratio| and quality metrics.
  • Work closely with business analysts| data engineers| product owners| and client stakeholders to convert requirements into Tableau solutions.
  • Perform dashboard optimization| data validation| UAT support| and production issue resolution.
  • Experience with Snowflake| SQL Server| Oracle| AWS/Azure| or similar cloud/data platforms is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and supporting enterprise-scale insurance applications.
 
Key Responsibility:
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Tableau development and Business Intelligence.
  • Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud, dashboards, reports, and data visualization.
  • Excellent SQL skills with complex joins, CTEs, subqueries, window functions, and query optimization.
  • Strong experience with Tableau calculations, LOD expressions, parameters, sets, actions, filters, and advanced visualizations.
  • Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and large datasets.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Big Query, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar databases.
  • Strong knowledge of Tableau performance tuning and dashboard optimization.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experience with Tableau Server administration, publishing, permissions, scheduling, and user access.
  • Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in the Insurance/Healthcare or Telecommunications domain is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python, Tableau Prep, Tableau REST API, Power BI, or Looker is a plus.
