Business Analyst/Project Manager (State Client Experience)

Introduction:

This position performs advanced, senior-level business systems analysis work. The Business Systems Analyst serves as a liaison between technical teams and program areas and stakeholders to ensure that complex calculations are accurately captured and validated, and that business needs are translated into system, data, and technical requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze user needs, business processes, pain points, and computer system capabilities to automate or improve existing systems.
• Elicit requirements using various methods such as JAD, interviews, document analysis, surveys, use cases, competitive product analysis, and workflow analysis.
• Transform information from elicitation sessions into business and functional requirements, use cases, user stories, software requirements specifications documents, wireframes, and mockups.
• Act as a mentor to peers and colleagues in disseminating best practices and proactively seek out training opportunities.
• Use TEA tools such as Jira and Modern Requirements to manage the change control process, participate in the SDLC, and track and communicate requirements status.
