Quality Engineer - SC Eligible

Hays are now looking for a Quality Engineer for one of our local clients: £310 p/d Inside IR35<br />Remote<br />Must be eligible for SC Clearance Key Responsibilities<br />- Work closely with business analysts to understand and interpret client requirements.- Define, prepare and execute appropriate test scenarios.<br />- Support and enhance testing across the Customs Declaration Service application.<br />- Contribute to performance testing activity within a complex systems integration environment.<br />- Use Cucumber and Java as part of the test engineering approach.<br />- Manage and document testing activity using JIRA and Confluence.<br />- Collaborate effectively with the wider delivery team across bespoke, COTS and AWS-hosted components.

Essential Skills and Experience<br />- Minimum five years of UK residency and eligible for SC Clearance<br />- Performance testing experience.<br />- Hands-on experience with Cucumber.<br />- Strong Java capability.<br />- Experience using JIRA.<br />- Experience using Confluence.

Desirable Skills<br />- JMeter.<br />- AWS tooling.
