Job Description
- Crystal Reports development (2008-era versions), including the ability to read and reverse-engineer existing reports, parameters, formulas and embedded SQL
- Apache Superset (or comparable modern BI platform) report and dashboard development, including SQL Lab, datasets and semantic modeling
- Strong Oracle and SQL Server SQL skills; comfortable optimizing queries and validating results between platforms
- Proven track record of report rationalization: assessing usage, redundancy and business value, and making clear decommission/consolidate/replace recommendations to business owners
- Ability to operate independently in a large organization – locating stakeholders, running working sessions, driving decisions and tracking outcomes without close supervision
- Experience with scheduled/automated report delivery (we use VisualCron today) and migrating scheduled output to a new platform
- Experience with the use of AI tools to assist in efficiency, consistency, and quality of software development
