Client - Partnered with a global leader in digital transformation and IT services, working with some of the world's largest organisations. The business delivers complex technology transformation programmes that require innovation, collaboration and thought leadership.

Role - We are seeking an experienced SAP Procurement Tech Lead/SAP S/4HANA Procurement Lead to support a major procurement transformation and acquisition integration programme.

This senior role requires expertise across SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement, SAP MM and SAP Ariba. You will lead the harmonisation of procurement processes, support Target Operating Model (TOM) design and supplier rationalisation, and provide functional leadership across the design, integration and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Procurement and Ariba solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Transformation & Integration
  
  • Lead procurement transformation and acquisition integration, defining future-state processes and the Procurement Target Operating Model (TOM).
  • Drive process harmonisation, supplier and contract rationalisation, identifying integration risks and transformation opportunities.
  • Establish consistent supplier management, procurement governance and controls across the future-state operating model.
• SAP S/4HANA Procurement & Ariba
  
  • Lead Fit-to-Standard, requirements gathering and process design, translating business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement solutions.
  • Provide functional leadership across SAP MM, Purchasing, Supplier Management, Procurement Master Data and SAP Ariba.
  • Define integrations across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, Finance and third-party procurement/vendor management platforms.
• Data, Testing & Deployment
  
  • Lead Supplier Master Data, migration, data quality and readiness activities.
  • Support SIT, UAT, deployment, go-live, hypercare and L2/L3 functional support.
  • Drive process optimisation, automation and continuous improvement across the procurement landscape.
• Governance & Stakeholder Management
  
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior Procurement, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal and IT stakeholders.
  • Embed governance, risk, controls, audit and compliance requirements throughout procurement process and solution design.
  • Provide strategic recommendations supporting transformation, integration and key programme decisions.

Key Skills:

• 10+ years' SAP Procurement experience, including 7+ years across SAP MM and SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement.
• Deep functional expertise across SAP S/4HANA Procurement, SAP MM, Purchasing, Supplier Management and Procurement Master Data, including integration with Finance, Inventory and Logistics.
• Proven delivery of procurement transformation, including current-state assessment, future-state process design, Target Operating Models (TOM), harmonisation and standardisation.
• Experienced in leading Fit-to-Standard, requirements gathering and process design workshops, translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Banking/Financial Services experience is desirable, with knowledge of procurement governance, controls and compliance within regulated environments.
• Experience across M&A, acquisition integration and complex transformation programmes, including process gap analysis, integration risk and procurement optimisation.
• Strong consulting and senior stakeholder management skills across Procurement, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal and IT.
• SAP Ariba experience is highly desirable, particularly Sourcing, Contracts, Buying & Invoicing, SLP and Supplier Risk; post-merger or acquisition integration experience would be advantageous.
