Description
We are looking for a Systems Administrator to support critical benefits and business applications for a team based in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. This role focuses on maintaining reliable system performance, assisting end users, and helping ensure applications operate smoothly across daily operations. The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving skills, technical confidence with enterprise platforms, and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external vendors.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily administration and support for benefits-related systems, Microsoft tools, and other key operational applications.
Investigate system and application issues, identify root causes, and partner with vendors or internal teams to drive timely resolution.
Provide user assistance on system workflows, features, and process questions to improve adoption and efficiency.
Review, validate, and help deploy software patches, updates, and enhancements to maintain stable performance.
Contribute to application rollouts, version upgrades, and data conversion efforts as part of ongoing system improvements.
Maintain user access controls by setting up permissions and supporting security-related requests.
Create and update technical documentation, including system settings, support procedures, and troubleshooting references.
Requirements
Experience supporting benefits administration platforms or comparable business systems in a production environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications used for reporting, analysis, and day-to-day operations.
Working knowledge of SQL for querying data, validating results, and assisting with issue investigation.
Ability to diagnose application problems and coordinate solutions across technical teams and third-party providers.
Strong communication skills with the ability to guide users through system questions and operational processes.
Experience managing user access, permissions, and related security administration tasks.
Organized documentation skills with attention to accuracy and process consistency.
