Android Developer

We are looking for a seasoned Android Software Engineer to join our mobile development team and help evolve an existing Android application. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Android SDKs, and Android APIs, along with a passion for building high-quality, scalable mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy new features for an existing Android application.
Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable Kotlin code.
Work extensively with Android SDKs and APIs across multiple OS versions.
Contribute to Android architecture and technical strategy.
Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience.
Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers.
Research and adopt emerging Android technologies and development practices.
Follow best practices for coding, testing, security, and application design.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering standards.
Participate in code reviews and support CI/CD processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of professional Android development experience.
Strong hands-on expertise in Kotlin.
Deep understanding of Android SDKs and APIs across OS versions.
Experience developing and maintaining large-scale Android applications.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Experience with REST APIs, HTTP, and asynchronous data handling.
Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles.
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Jetpack Compose experience is highly preferred.
