System Engineer with Security Clearance

Que Technology Group, Inc., is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to work with a team of developers to implement new capabilities in support of the current classification marking tool and the tool to be used to support M365 web-based applications. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * D ocumenting the full life cycle design, development and testing of policy-driven software across multiple fabrics. Looking for a candidate with a technical background with experience in troubleshooting and requirements gathering. * Document the tool and inner workings to include creating standard system engineering and test documentation. * Attention to detail is needed to test new software releases and document results. * The candidate should have the ability to work directly with customers to identify and resolve user reported issues either by establishing alternative solutions or generating bug reports Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. * 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree for a total of 8 years. * 3+ years of System Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. * Experience generating standard system engineering and test documents * Excellent written skills and experience in generating program/process related documents * Working experience with JIRA and Confluence * Experience with Wiki * Experience in AWS (ability to navigate AWS dashboards && services) * Experience working collaboratively with a team of developers, Contractors, and the Government Preferred Qualifications: * Analyze system requirements, the concept of operations, and high-level system architecture to develop requirements specifications * Gather, analyze, and capture customer requirements * Triage user issues * Track and respond to user issues/questions * Establish internal schedules and milestones * Report weekly/monthly/quarterly status in a timely manner * Document processes and provide deliverable to the government * Provide meeting minutes * Ability to test new configurations/software releases * Coordinate and identify test users for various scenarios * Track and report testing results * Coordinate software deliveries with external organizations * Contribute content for the development of high level documentation and guides * Strong, Time Management skills Security Clearance: * TS/SCI clearance with polygraph BENEFITS: * Competitive salary * Company Medical/Dental/Vision plans - Company paid * Short-term Disability, Long-term disability and Life Insurance - Company paid * Business/ First Class travel upgrade for 7 hour or longer flights && company card will be provided for expenses * Vacation / Personal days granted at 25 days per year * Paid Federal Holidays - 11 days * $5,000 Annual Professional Development Fund plus 40 paid hours if in class * 401K with 6% company match; all contributions are immediately vested by Employee * Employee will be paid a bonus of $10,000 per employee hired based on their referral * Up to 3 paid Code Red days due to customer closure Que Technology Group, Inc., is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
