Senior Microsoft SQL Developer (Hybrid – Local Candidates Only)

Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft SQL Developer to support the modernization of a high-availability enterprise SQL Server platform using microservices and Azure technologies. The role involves SQL development, performance tuning, database modernization, ETL development, and collaboration with Agile development teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 7+ years of SQL Server development in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in T-SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines (IaaS).
• Hands-on experience with Always On Availability Groups.
• Experience modernizing legacy SQL databases and schemas.
• Experience working with .NET Core/C# development teams.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum.
• Experience with cloud-hosted SQL environments.

Preferred Skills

• SSIS and Databricks for ETL development.
• PCI compliance and database security.
• Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Microservices architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• High-transaction SQL environment optimization.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day onsite per week).
