Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and cloud technologies, along with a solid understanding of software development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based enterprise applications.
• Develop robust and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
• Build and integrate applications with internal and external systems.
• Develop efficient database queries, stored procedures, and data-access layers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and security standards.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
• Implement automated unit and integration testing.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute throughout the SDLC.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming experience in Java 8/11/17+.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
• Extensive experience developing Microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful Web Services and API development.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Git and source-control management.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Strong knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices.
• Experience with performance tuning and application monitoring.
