Location: Charlotte, NC (Two days hybrid)
Interview: Teams with final round in person possible (must be agreed upon at submittal)

Exp Level: 5-7 years

Duration: 12 months+

Description:

Role Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated application developer with experience in Appian, BPM or Web Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the Appian platform across the front-end UI/UX to back-end databases and process modeling.

Role Objectives: Delivery
Works to build and maintain a variety of software applications, tools, or functions for the business. Compiles business requirements and translates them into technical specifications for development. Maintain documentation for code, processes, and systems. Supports QA testing and implement fixes for exceptions. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems. Ensure security and data protection compliance across applications.

Qualifications and Skills
3+ years of experience in Appian or full stack development
Strong front-end skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
Hands-on development experience with SQL Server or other relational databases
Knowledge of SQL programming and ability to write and simplify complex queries, improve query performance, etc.
Design and implement RESTful APIs
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAIL, Records, Integrations, WebAPIs in Appian
Experience with Flask, Python
Experience with Kubernetes
Professional Experience working in Investment Banking is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
