The Opportunity
StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a premier client seeking a visionary Business Architect for a 6-month contract-to-hire engagement. This fully remote position operates within the United States on the Eastern Standard Time zone (8 AM to 5 PM) and invites a strategic mastermind to bridge high-level corporate objectives with actionable enterprise execution. You will spearhead transformation initiatives, shape foundational capability maps, and steer enterprise-wide alignment for an industry-leading organization.
What You’ll Do
Translate high-level organizational goals into actionable capability blueprints, value stream designs, and strategic roadmaps
Author and curate comprehensive enterprise architecture documentation, encompassing operating frameworks, capability frameworks, and value flows
Collaborate alongside senior leadership, product divisions, and systems architects to synchronize operational vision with technical delivery
Evaluate capability deficits and rank funding priorities according to enterprise worth and long-term utility
Direct portfolio scheduling and initiative sequencing initiatives to maximize staff deployment and change management outcomes
Lead multi-disciplinary workshops featuring enterprise and technology leaders to achieve unified consensus on structural choices
Evaluate existing workflows, corporate hierarchies, and technical stacks to uncover optimization pathways and strategic synergy
Formulate and mandate enterprise architecture standards, operating frameworks, and oversight policies across the entire enterprise
Cooperate with Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, and Data Architecture teams to guarantee commercial intent translates accurately into system blueprints
Guarantee end-to-end alignment connecting high-level corporate goals down to foundational capabilities, active projects, and quantifiable business outcomes
What You Bring
10+ years of professional background within Business Architecture, Enterprise Strategy, Management Consulting, or Business Transformation domains
Proven expertise in constructing and sustaining structural deliverables such as Capability Maps, Value Streams, and Operating Models at enterprise scale
Outstanding executive communication and stakeholder facilitation abilities, featuring a demonstrated capacity to influence without direct hierarchical authority
Extensive familiarity with Business Architecture Guild BIZBOK principles and methodologies, alongside preferred background in the BIAN Framework
Background operating inside massive, intricate corporations within the Financial Services Industry, inclusive of familiarity regarding Regulatory Requirements and Risk Considerations
Fluency utilizing overarching enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF alongside their deployment toward corporate evolution
Advanced strategic analysis capabilities emphasizing expertise in Capability Modeling, Value Stream Mapping, and Systems Thinking
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or an equivalent academic discipline (Master's degree preferred)
Active credentials including CBA or TOGAF Certification viewed as advantageous assets
Compensation & Total Rewards
$90-$95+/hr
