The Role • Operate specialized equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers. • Safely load and unload containers from railcars and trucks. • Position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Perform pre and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics operations. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver’s license is required. • Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing. • Strong commitment to safety and a keen attention to detail. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including night shifts. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
