Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with the following experience:
- Infrastructure modernization and lifecycle projects
- Delivery of Cybersecurity projects involving Identify Access Management
- Background in healthcare IT and a strong understanding of hospital systems to join our client s dynamic team.
The ideal candidates will have significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the healthcare sector, and be adept at managing complex IT projects including the dispositioning of a large number of applications. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare informatics, workflow management, and the ability to bridge the gap between product management and merger teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the disposition of approximately 400 applications, including roadmap development, data capture, and identification of roadblocks for migrating applications to the client's domain.
- Understand and define the scope of application migrations, including dependencies and integrations with critical systems such as billing.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the product management group and the mergers team, facilitating communication and ensuring that product managers, who may lack technical expertise, are well-informed about project developments.
- Lead and manage multiple ongoing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Utilize your background in informatics to understand healthcare workflows, ask pertinent questions, and drive project success.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, risk assessments, and project plans.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of IT project management experience, with a strong emphasis on healthcare IT.
- Proven experience in managing IT projects related to mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare industry.
- Strong background in healthcare informatics and understanding of hospital workflows.
- Ability to understand and manage technical aspects of IT projects, even if the product management team does not possess deep technical expertise.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills with a track record of successfully managing complex IT projects.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field is preferred.
