Job description

The Case Doesn't Start in Court. It Starts With You.

When a new client signs on with Shegerian & Associates, they’re trusting us with one of the hardest moments of their working life. As our Onboarding Specialist, you turn “we’ll take your case” into a fully built file ready for the team to fight.

We’re California’s premier plaintiff side employment law firm, and we’re looking for someone who treats the details like they matter, because they do.

What You'll Do

  • Guide new clients through onboarding and prepare matters for Case Management and attorney review
  • Draft and send retainer agreements and answer client questions
  • Collect evidence, case information, and personnel files from the defendant
  • Follow up on every outstanding document until the file is complete
  • Track critical deadlines, including Tort Claims Act (TCA), Statute of Limitations (SOL), and Right to Sue (RTS)
  • Keep case files, trackers, and timelines organized and current

This description captures the primary nature and level of work for this role. Additional duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may apply beyond those listed here.

What Makes You the One

  • You’re meticulous by default and your follow through is automatic
  • You never let a deadline get close
  • You stay calm and warm with anxious or overwhelmed clients
  • You communicate clearly in writing and on the phone
  • You take ownership and don’t wait to be told what’s next

Why Shegerian & Associates
