Hiring: L3/L4 AV Support Engineer (Event Support Specialist)

 Location: Warren, NJ (Everest Offices)
 Job Type: Full-Time
 Department: Infrastructure / IT Support

We are looking for an experienced L3/L4 AV Support Engineer (Event Support Specialist) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical support for corporate meetings, conferences, and events, ensuring seamless execution of both in-person and hybrid events across Everest office locations and off-site venues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support for corporate meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Set up, configure, test, and operate audio/visual equipment including microphones, speakers, projectors, video walls, digital displays, and conferencing systems.
  • Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and other collaboration platforms.
  • Configure and support hybrid meeting environments and live event streaming.
  • Perform real-time troubleshooting during live events to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and Event Planning teams to ensure successful event execution.
  • Maintain inventory and lifecycle management of AV equipment.
  • Assist with event recording, live streaming, and post-event media management.
  • Provide end-user training on conference room technologies and collaboration tools.
  • Recommend improvements and upgrades to AV infrastructure and meeting technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Audio Visual (AVSupport, Event Support, or Collaboration Technologies.
  • Strong experience supporting executive meetings and enterprise conference rooms.
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex, and other conferencing platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of AV hardware including mixers, switchers, microphones, DSPs, projectors, video walls, cameras, and display technologies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and provide on-call support when required.
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, or equivalent AV certification.
  • Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom, or Cisco Webex certifications.
  • Experience with hybrid event production and streaming technologies.
  • Familiarity with event scheduling and management tools.
