Role: Analyst - Data Governance

Key Responsibilities

•       Support enterprise master data governance initiatives across SAP S/4HANA landscapes, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.

•       Partner with business SMEs and data stewards to gather requirements and translate them into clear data dictionaries, business rules, and process documentation.

•       Analyze and document end-to-end (E2E) business processes and system dependencies to support master data governance decisions.

•       Collaborate with technical teams on SAP MDG, Syniti, SWFT, Cignon, or SAP BTP tools to support master data creation, maintenance, and remediation workflows.

•       Support UAT / BST testing cycles, coordinating with business and technical teams to validate data governance and master data changes.

•       Identify data quality issues within master data domains, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution with data owners.

•       Maintain governance documentation, SOPs, and process artifacts to support ongoing master data governance operations.

•       Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and manage work items via Jira, ensuring timely delivery of governance-related tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•       10+ years of overall experience in data governance, master data management, or related analyst roles.

•       2–5 years of hands-on SAP experience, including SAP S/4HANA environments.

•       Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and end-to-end (E2E) business processes.

•       Experience with requirements gathering, data dictionaries, and business rule documentation.

•       Hands-on exposure to SAP MDG, Syniti, SWFT, Cignon, or SAP BTP.

•       Experience supporting UAT / BST testing cycles.

•       Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders.
