Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

job summary:

We are seeking a hands-on Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our technology practice in Austin, TX. In this role, you will design, develop, and execute automated API test solutions to validate critical backend integrations and Apple Pay functionality. You will work closely on-site with engineering teams to ensure system reliability and high performance.

responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for REST APIs in Java or Kotlin.
• Validate third-party API implementations to ensure full compliance with feature requirements.
• Troubleshoot, triage, and perform root-cause analysis on complex server automation failures.
• Contribute to the design and software development of internal testing tools and accelerators.

qualifications:

5+ years of current, hands-on experience in software automation engineering and backend testing.

Strong programming proficiency in Java or Kotlin.

Deep experience in REST API automated testing and troubleshooting framework failures.

Ability to work 100% on-site in Austin, TX.
