Job Description

Senior RF Engineer

Location: Southampton

Salary:Circa 70K-80K + Excellent Benefits

Senior RF Engineer required by a successful technology company developing advanced communications solutions!

This is a varied, challenging role where you'll play a key role on technically challenging wireless systems, combining hands-on engineering with responsibility for delivering complex projects

Essential:

  • Degree in Electronics, Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • Strong commercial wireless communications engineering experience
  • Good knowledge of DSP and digital communications
  • Experience working with complex electronic or communications systems
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
  • Experience taking ownership of engineering projects or technical work packages
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full UK work rights
  • Eligible for UK Security Check (SC) clearance

Nice-to-have:

  • Software Defined Radio (SDR)
  • RF engineering
  • FPGA / digital design
  • MATLAB / Simulink
  • Embedded or software development
  • Communications waveform development
  • Experience within defence, security or other technically demanding environments
