ML Research PhD Expert

Location: Remote

Engagement Type: Hourly Contract

About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for accomplished Machine Learning Researchers with publications at top-tier AI conferences including ICML, NeurIPS, and ICLR . You will contribute to advanced AI research projects by applying your expertise in frontier machine learning, helping improve the reasoning, learning, and problem-solving capabilities of next-generation AI systems.

The role is focused on researchers with a strong track record of original ML contributions and algorithmic innovation rather than purely applied analytics work.

Ideal Qualifications

• PhD in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a closely related field.

• At least one published paper at ICML, NeurIPS, or ICLR .

• Strong preference for candidates with multiple publications at these venues.

• Demonstrated experience conducting original machine learning research.

• Deep understanding of modern machine learning theory, algorithms, and model development.

• Excellent analytical, research, and scientific communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced research environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced machine learning expertise to support frontier AI research initiatives.

• Review, analyze, and evaluate research-level machine learning content and methodologies.

• Develop high-quality technical insights, evaluations, and research deliverables.

• Assess AI-generated outputs for technical accuracy, reasoning quality, and scientific rigor.

• Contribute expert feedback to improve model performance and research quality.

• Collaborate with researchers and project teams on challenging machine learning problems.

• Help create high-quality data and evaluation frameworks for advanced AI systems.
