In-Home Sales Consultant

Canter Power Systems LLC is seeking an In-Home Sales Consultant to sell residential standby generator solutions. You'll visit pre-set, qualified appointments in customers' homes, assess their backup power needs, and present tailored generator proposals. Responsibilities include educating homeowners on system benefits, financing, and warranties, closing sales, and coordinating with operations for smooth installation. You'll represent a trusted, family-owned leader, follow safety and compliance standards, use CRM tools to track activity, and meet or exceed sales targets while providing a professional, customer-focused experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations with pre-set, qualified leads for standby generators
• Assess customers' backup power needs and site conditions
• Deliver professional sales presentations and customized proposals
• Explain product features, benefits, financing, and warranties
• Close sales and achieve or exceed monthly and annual targets
• Use CRM tools to document visits, proposals, and follow-ups
• Coordinate with installation and service teams for smooth project handoff
• Follow safety, code, and company compliance standards during site visits
• Maintain strong product knowledge of generators and related systems
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent the Canter brand professionally
