Software Developer - Thermo Fisher SampleManager (LIMS)<br />£540 per day (Inside IR35)<br />Remote<br />BPSS required to start. Eligible for SC clearance.

We're looking for 2 experienced Lead Software Developers with strong Thermo Fisher SampleManager (LIMS) expertise to join a major public sector digital transformation programme.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on the upgrade and enhancement of a critical Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), supporting the delivery of complex technical solutions within a regulated environment.

What you'll be doing Developing and customising Thermo Fisher SampleManager LIMS<br />Designing and implementing laboratory workflows and system enhancements<br />Building integrations with enterprise systems and laboratory instruments<br />Supporting the migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL<br />Troubleshooting technical issues and providing ongoing system support<br />Working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions Essential Skills Proven experience with Thermo Fisher SampleManager LIMS (v12.1 or v21.3)<br />Strong development skills in VGL, C#/.NET and SQL<br />Experience configuring and customising SampleManager<br />Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and systems integration<br />Experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases<br />Understanding of laboratory workflows and Laboratory Information Management Systems<br />Experience working within regulated environments (GxP, GMP, ISO 17025 or FDA 21 CFR Part 11) Desirable Experience with both SampleManager v12.1 and v21.3<br />Oracle to PostgreSQL migration experience<br />Previous public sector or scientific/laboratory systems experience
