Position Title: SAP Finance Contractor
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months

SAP Finance Contractor - Segment Derivation / S/4HANA Conversion

• SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) with hands-on experience in Segment reporting and derivation logic — must understand standard SAP segment derivation mechanisms vs. custom BAdI-based approaches
• Deep knowledge of WBS Elements (WBSE), Profit Center, and Cost Center master data structures and how they interact in postings
• Experience retiring custom BAdIs and replacing with SAP standard derivation + validation rules (clean core principles)
• Background in S/4HANA conversion/migration projects , ideally having worked through current-state-to-future-state master data redesign
• Familiar with BPC (NW and/or MS) reporting implications tied to Segment/GAAP treatment reporting
• Comfortable working with cross-functional workstreams (Finance + DT&I) and translating business rules into system validations
• Experience with greenfield or hybrid/bluefield implementation approaches a plus
• Rail, transportation, or public sector SAP experience a plus, not required
