The Company

Our client is a successful and growing international manufacturer, supplying specialist products to customers across multiple global markets.

With ambitious plans for continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced and commercially focused Head of Marketing to take ownership of the marketing function, drive brand awareness and generate new business opportunities across their international markets.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on marketing leader who can develop the strategy while also delivering campaigns, content and lead-generation activity to support the continued growth of the business.

The Vacancy

As Head of Marketing, you will take ownership of the marketing strategy and execution, acting as custodian of the company's brand and supporting the wider Sales and Leadership teams.

You will be responsible for understanding the target markets, identifying key accounts and decision-makers, developing thought-leadership content and delivering multi-channel campaigns that generate qualified leads and support commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities for Head of Marketing

  • Develop and implement the company's overall marketing strategy across the UK, US and Australian markets.
  • Research and map target markets, organisations, customers and key decision-makers to identify new commercial opportunities.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive target account lists and customer data within the CRM.
  • Develop targeted marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, SEO, events, case studies and video.
  • Generate and manage marketing-qualified leads, ensuring all inbound enquiries are captured, followed up and passed effectively to Sales.
  • Develop high-quality content, including case studies, articles, customer stories and thought-leadership materials.
  • Organise clinical forums, webinars, events and other initiatives to strengthen the company's position within its specialist market.
  • Build relationships with industry professionals and subject matter experts to support the company's thought-leadership strategy.
  • Own and develop the company's brand identity, tone of voice and positioning across all markets and customer touchpoints.
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure marketing activity directly supports pipeline generation and commercial objectives.
  • Monitor marketing performance, engagement and funnel metrics, using data to continually improve activity and results.
  • Support the wider leadership team with communications, customer experience initiatives and the overall business growth strategy.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Head of Marketing or senior B2B marketing professional, ideally within a technical, healthcare, construction, manufacturing or built-environment environment.
  • Hands-on and commercially focused, with experience developing strategy and delivering multi-channel campaigns that generate measurable leads and business opportunities.
  • Experience in account-based marketing, target account development and persona-led campaigns.
  • Strong content, thought-leadership and brand management skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Data-driven and CRM proficient, with experience using marketing automation platforms and measuring campaign and funnel performance.
  • Highly organised, proactive and collaborative, with the ability to work closely with Sales and Senior Leadership across a growing international business.
  • Experience working across international markets would be advantageous, with exposure to healthcare, clinical, NHS, government or public-sector organisations.
  • CIM qualification desirable.
