Baer is looking for SAP PP Functional Consultant for a 6-month remote project.
Title: SAP PP Functional Consultant
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 6 months - Occasional onsite visits may be required
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Functional Consultant to support a client based in Europe. The consultant will lead SAP PP functional activities, optimize manufacturing and production planning processes, and provide expert guidance to the project team. This is a remote, part-time project requiring approximately six months of engagement per year, with occasional onsite travel as needed.
Description:

• Lead SAP PP configuration, implementation, and enhancement activities.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP functional solutions.
• Configure production planning, MRP, BOMs, routings, work centers, and production orders.
• Support production planning, scheduling, capacity planning, and shop-floor processes.
• Conduct requirements gathering, gap analysis, functional design, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional SAP MM, SD, QM, and CO teams.
• Support testing, defect resolution, deployment, and user training.
• Provide functional expertise and guidance to project stakeholders and team members.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience as an SAP PP Functional Consultant.
• Expertise in SAP PP configuration and manufacturing business processes.
• Experience with MRP, BOMs, routings, work centers, and production orders.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA PP and SAP ECC.
• Experience in implementation, rollout, enhancement, or support projects.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, gap analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work remotely with a European-based client and travel onsite occasionally.
