Job Description

 

 

 

SD2 To manage IT Asset Inventory within ODPS

.   

1.            Process all equipment coming into or leaving IT

2.            Update Asset Inventory System

3.            Process Salvage equipment (removing the hard drives, doing entire process)

4.            Unpacking and packing boxes for equipment and preparing it for shipment to ACF or other DPS sites

5.            Pickup and Deliver equipment from DIS/Excel/DTS/ETC

6.            Complete any Service Now tickets on equipment requests (ie monitors, keyboards, mice, HDMI cables, etc)

7.            Reconcile all Inventory sheets (paper/electronic) on daily basis

8.            Validate all of the IT Operations Room equipment weekly to ensure inventory is up to date and correct

9.            Serves as backup contact for level 1 support

IT Experience
Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines
Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Education in IT Support
Inventory Management experience
