Senior System Engineer- SAAS applications

·        Mandatory – 7+ years of experience with SaaS application implementation, enhancement, and testing.

·        Mandatory – 7+ years providing technical and administrative support for SaaS applications, including troubleshooting, debugging, researching technical issues, and resolving problems.

·        Mandatory – 7+ years of SaaS application onboarding, including configuration, dashboard creation, and working with third-party vendors/SaaS clients.

·        Mandatory – 7+ years of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience, including analysis, solutioning, detailed design, development, testing, automation, and deployment.

·        Candidate must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week at CalSTRS Headquarters in West Sacramento.

·        Strong preference for 5+ years hands-on coding experience with algorithms and data structures.

·        Strong ServiceNow experience, particularly SaaS integrations and ITSM, ITAM, and ITOM.

·        Experience creating ServiceNow reports, dashboards, status reports, statistics, and analytics.

·        Experience with AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude.

·        Application performance troubleshooting experience.

·        Metrics, analytics, and logging experience.

·        Agile and cross-functional team experience.

·        Relevant experience with platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Electronic Content Management, Jama, and Riskonnect is highly desirable.

Important screening note: Section C lists SaaS onboarding/configuration as Mandatory Qualification #3, while Attachment II lists 7+ years of cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure for Qualification #3. 

The candidate's experience must be clearly documented and verifiable through the resume and references. Client requires three business-reference entries and will score the candidate based heavily on the Skill Summary and resume.
