Job Title: Business Analyst (E2E Business Systems Analyst)

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 Days/Week)

Key Responsibilities

Analyze current cross-functional business processes and recommend improvements based on industry best practices.
Perform gap analysis between current (AS-IS) and future (TO-BE) business processes and systems.
Gather, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, non-functional, and system requirements.
Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and System Requirement Specifications (SRS).
Develop UML diagrams, process flows, use cases, and workflow documentation.
Create customer journey maps and identify business pain points.
Prepare Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) and Gap Analysis documentation.
Conduct requirement review sessions and obtain stakeholder approvals.
Collaborate with development, QA, and project management teams throughout the SDLC.
Perform SQL queries for data validation, testing, and reporting.
Utilize JIRA to manage requirements, user stories, defects, and project progress.
Identify project risks and communicate them effectively to stakeholders and leadership.
Work directly with clients to understand business objectives and translate them into technical solutions.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production implementation activities.
Leverage AI technologies and tools to improve productivity and business outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor''s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
10+ years of Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience.
Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
Expertise in BRD, FRD, SRS, RTM, Gap Analysis, and UML documentation.
Strong SQL skills for data validation, testing, and reporting.
Hands-on experience with JIRA and Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
