Associate - Real Estate M&A | Bulge Bracket - Selby Jennings

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory mandates across the real estate sector.
• Build and review detailed financial models, valuation analyses and transaction materials.
• Prepare client presentations, marketing documents and investment committee materials.
• Conduct industry research and analyse market trends, transactions and investment opportunities.
• Coordinate due diligence processes and work closely with clients, legal advisers and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior team members whilst working closely with senior bankers on live transactions and business development initiatives.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of investment banking experience, ideally within Real Estate, Infrastructure, Industrials, M&A or a related sector coverage team.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities, including DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies and merger analysis.
• Experience executing M&A transactions and strategic advisory assignments.
• Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic achievement from a leading university.
