Job Description

Job Title: Product Owner

Location: Atlanta, GA- onsite 5 days/ week

Duration: 6-month contract, with potential for extension

Required / Must-haves:

  • Own product strategy, roadmap, and delivery.
  • Own, manage, prioritize, refine, and maintain the product backlog to ensure the team works on the highest-value items.
  • Translate product strategy, customer needs, business requirements, and stakeholder input into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable development tasks.
  • Collaborate with engineering throughout sprint planning, daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, retrospectives, demos, and release preparation.
  • Clarify requirements, answer development questions, remove ambiguity, and make timely decisions to support delivery progress.
  • Partner with Training, Support, SMEs, Sales, and Marketing to support knowledge transfer, customer readiness, internal enablement, release communications, webinars, and go-to-market execution.
  • Work with business stakeholders, data teams, and engineering teams to prioritize and execute initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements.
  • Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making and business improvements.
  • Communicate product vision and progress to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Min 7+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, Platform Product Management, or related experience.
  • Experience working closely with software engineering teams to deliver technical products.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • APIs and system integrations
    • Cloud platforms
    • Distributed systems and modern software architecture
  • Ability to convert technical concepts into business-friendly requirements and roadmaps.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
