Sr. Art Director/Designer

Join a dynamic marketing creative team and help shape compelling digital campaigns for a business-focused audience. This Senior Art Director/Designer role blends strategic concepting with hands-on design, motion, and performance-driven creative execution across paid media and lifecycle channels.
Responsibilities

• Concept, design, and deliver customer-facing creative in partnership with copywriters and cross-functional teammates
• Create static, motion, and video assets tailored for paid digital platforms and audience behavior
• Build modular design systems and templates that support testing, iteration, and creative refreshes
• Develop creative for Meta, YouTube, TikTok, SEM, display, landing pages, and email
• Apply light animation and motion design to enhance performance-focused ad creative
• Present creative rationale and performance insights to internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with Growth, Product Marketing, Analytics, and Project Management partners to meet goals and timelines
• Research trends and audience insights to inform relevant, culturally aware creative work
• Partner with external vendors when needed and provide clear, constructive feedback

Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Art Director in an in-house creative team and/or agency environment
• Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, digital performance work, visual craft, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Working knowledge of basic motion tools such as After Effects or similar software
• Experience creating mobile-first digital marketing creative
• Understanding of how creative performs across acquisition channels and how to improve results over time
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain creative decisions
• Ability to balance brand storytelling with performance goals
• Must be based in Seattle, WA and able to work onsite 2-3 days per week

Preferred Skills

• B2B marketing experience
• Experience supporting global audiences or culturally diverse customer segments
• Fluency in Spanish or another language
• Experience working in startup-style or high-growth environments
• Familiarity with lifecycle marketing, conversion-focused design, and HTML5 creative
