Cybersecurity Network Governance Engineer / Security Architect
Remote Role
Type: Full Time/W2 with Infinite Computer Solutions
Role Summary:
Review, audit, and govern enterprise firewall changes to ensure they comply with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Assess network communication risks, identify security gaps, support compliance efforts, and automate governance workflows using SharePoint and Power Automate.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve firewall change requests.
  • Audit firewall rules and configurations.
  • Identify security risks and recommend remediation.
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
  • Create and maintain SharePoint workflows and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and application teams.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years managing enterprise firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto).
  • Strong knowledge of firewall configuration, auditing, and network security.
  • Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or vendor firewall certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
