Role Summary
The selected supplier will provide a temporary consultant to support enterprise APQP tools and processes. The consultant will help maintain, improve, and support software applications used for Requirements Management (RM), Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Process FMEA, and Control Plans. This role will support Engineering tool administration, continuous improvement, issue resolution, user training, stakeholder communications, and Power BI dashboard deployment to improve product development efficiency and user adoption across the enterprise.


Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities:
Support the functionality, performance, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise tools used for Requirements Management, FMEA, and Control Plans.
Gather stakeholder and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities, define requirements, and support prioritization of tool and process enhancements.
Coordinate project activities, track progress, monitor risks and issues, and communicate status with business stakeholders, IT partners, and participating functional teams.
Collaborate with internal IT teams and external software vendors to troubleshoot issues, validate solutions, support releases, and deploy approved enhancements.
Provide user support, training materials, process documentation, and knowledge transfer to improve adoption and consistent use of APQP-related tools.
Support development, deployment, and improvement of Power BI dashboards and related analytics to increase visibility to product development performance and process effectiveness.
Serve as a subject matter resource for tool usage, process alignment, data quality, and continuous improvement activities related to Requirements Management, FMEA, and control plan processes.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

Experience supporting Engineering software tools, business process improvements, requirements management, APQP, FMEA, control plans, quality management, product development processes, data analytics, or related technical/business systems.
Experience working with cross-functional business teams, IT organizations, software vendors, and end users to resolve issues and deliver process or tool improvements.
Ability to document requirements, support testing, develop training materials, communicate status, and manage multiple priorities in a project environment.
Education: Highly Recommended Engineering or Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree

Tool and Process Support: Experience supporting business systems, issue resolution, user adoption, requirements documentation, testing, release support, data quality, and process improvement activities.
