About the RoleCommercial Account Manager to join our team in Regents Park NSW. This is a project-focused, customer-facing sales role operating within the fast-paced HVAC commercial market. You will take ownership of a portfolio of mechanical contractors and commercial service companies, driving project opportunities, growing account performance, and identifying new business across the region.
Working closely with the State Manager and Technical Sales team, you will play a key role in securing project specifications, influencing tenders, and delivering against sales targets.
What You'll Do- Manage a structured call cycle across assigned commercial customer accounts
- Build and grow existing accounts to increase share of project opportunities and win rate
- Identify and develop new contractor and service company relationships
- Proactively source opportunities via tender platforms and industry networks
- Uncover off-market / non-listed project opportunities through strong relationships
- Present and promote MHIAA products to contractors, consultants, and stakeholders
- Work closely with Technical Sales to develop accurate and competitive tenders/quotes
- Maintain a strong pipeline and deliver against sales targets and KPIs
- Proven experience in account management or project sales, ideally within HVAC, construction, or a related industry
- Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting
- Experience working with tenders, quotations, and project-based sales cycles
- Ability to build relationships with contractors, consultants, and commercial customers
- Commercial acumen with experience working toward targets and budgets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Full Driver's Licence
- Experience in air conditioning / HVAC systems (VRF highly regarded)
- Trade or technical background
