Cybersecurity Engineer

Summary:

• Seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and improve enterprise security solutions.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with security infrastructure, vulnerability management, incident response, identity and access management, and security monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise cybersecurity controls and security technologies.
• Monitor and investigate security events, vulnerabilities, and potential threats.
• Support vulnerability management, threat detection, incident response, and remediation activities.
• Configure and manage security tools including SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint security solutions.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, standards, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, cloud, application, and compliance teams.
• Perform security assessments and recommend improvements to the organization's security posture.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, endpoint security, and network security.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, IDS/IPS, authentication, encryption, and security protocols.
• Experience with Windows/Linux security.
• Knowledge of cloud security and IAM.
• Familiarity with NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, or similar security frameworks.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
