Title: MEP Commissioning Coordinator/Manager (Data Center Projects)

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 7 months

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday

Start Date: July 13th

Project Details: Candidate will oversee CxA (Our clients Commissioning Team) and all other Vendors & Contractors.

MEP/Cx Coordinator

• General
• Provide technical coordination between OFCI (Owner Furnished, Contractor Installations) vendors and contractors, CxA and design team
• Review vendor shop drawings for physical and technical requirements relative to contract drawings
• Provide overall site verification for receiving handling, installation, operation, and testing of OFCI equipment
• Provide coordination between the construction and Client Operations team
• Construction Coordination
• Review shop drawings with contractors for physical installation requirement
• Cx Coordination
• L1
• Factory site visits as required
• Confirm vendor is building to shop drawings
• Confirm production is on schedule
• Coordinate appropriate sub-contractors for factory visit on technical or unique installation requirements
• Factory witness tests where applicable
• L2
• Perform equipment inspection on all OFCI as it arrives on site and document condition and BOM
• Provide deficiency log for each piece of equipment
• Review installation requirements of OFCI with contractors
• Field technical and installation questions from contractors for submission to OFCI vendors
• L3
• Coordinate CxA documentation requirements with contractors
• Review installation by contractors
• Sign off on Energization Ready
• Provide coordination between construction schedule and OFCI vendors for on site start up
• Ensure contractors and OFCI vendors provide complete L3 documentation to CxA
• Coordinate between contractors and CxA for load banking plans for L4
• Coordinate between Contractor, Vendor and CxA for all identified deficiencies and their remediation
• L4
• Coordinate testing requirements with CxA, Vendor and Contractors
• At populated sites, coordinate Script review and implementation with Client Operations
• Coordinate equipment deficiencies with CxA, Vendor and Contractors
• Observe L4 testing for conformance with script
• Coordinate Client Operations testing viewing with CxA
• Coordinate between Contractor, Vendor and CxA for all identified deficiencies and their remediation
• L5
• Coordinate utility requirements with serving utility and Client Operations
• Coordinate IST viewing by appropriate Client representatives
• Observe and participate where necessary of all IST activities
• Post Cx Activities
• Coordinate between Contractor, Vendor and CxA for all identified deficiencies and their remediation
• Obtain Letter of Completion from CxA and arrange for final Cx Report within 30 days of Completion
• Coordinate between Vendors and Operations for OFCI training
• Coordinate OFCI O&M and other closeout documentation

Musts:

Experience overseeing Level 1 - 5 Commissioning Activities.

Would like to see 1 or 2 Data Center Projects (2+ years). Trade-offs are Semiconductor or Energy.
