Description
Lead remediation of data governance backlog with a focus on creating understandable, trusted, and reusable data artifacts.
Collaborate with partners to accelerate backlog clean-up while ensuring quality and business usability.
Utilize strong SQL and analytical skills to support governance efforts.
Develop and maintain data dictionaries, mappings, and documentation.
Visualize remediation plans using business intelligence tools.
Potential to evolve into a business intelligence role based on demonstrated capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the remediation plan for a data governance backlog, managing intake, prioritization, and deliverables.
Create and maintain governance artifacts like data dictionaries and mappings.
Use SQL for data profiling, validation, and documentation.
Collaborate with teams to align deliverables with enterprise standards.
Develop reporting views to visualize progress and opportunities.

Qualifications
Significant experience in data documentation and validation.
Advanced SQL skills for querying large datasets and data quality assessment.
Experience with data governance concepts and metadata management.
Strong communication skills for summarizing technical findings.
Bachelor''s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
