Director, Institutional Capital Raising (Structured Credit) - Invictus Executive Search LLP

Our client is a specialist structured credit investment manager seeking an experienced institutional capital raising professional to support fundraising activities across North America.

This is a genuine capital raising role. We are looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of personally raising institutional assets, originating new opportunities and converting institutional relationships into long-term capital commitments.

Responsibilities

1. Originate and close new institutional fundraising opportunities.
2. Build relationships across pensions, endowments, foundations, consultants and family offices.
3. Represent the firm at investor meetings and industry events.
4. Work closely with senior investment professionals throughout the fundraising process.
5. Help drive long-term growth in assets under management.

Experience

You will most likely have 10–15 years' experience within institutional sales, capital raising or business development gained within structured credit, CLOs or alternative credit.

You will demonstrate:

1. A proven track record of raising institutional capital.
2. Strong institutional investor relationships across North America.
3. Experience within structured credit, CLOs or alternative credit.
4. Excellent commercial judgement and the ability to convert opportunities into mandates.
5. Strong communication skills and executive presence.

Compensation

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $200,000 – $250,000. Actual base salary will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications. The position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
