SAP HANA SCM PM Consultant (Field Service Management)

Contract until April 2027 Sydney or Melbourne Based

We are partnering with a leading enterprise client seeking an experienced SAP HANA SCM PM Consultant to join a major transformation program. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP solutions across Supply Chain Management, Plant Maintenance, and Field Service Management.

The successful consultant will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver end-to-end SAP solutions that enhance maintenance operations, field service delivery, and supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and translate business requirements into SAP functional solutions.
• Configure and support SAP HANA SCM PM and Field Service Management (FSM) functionalities.
• Design and improve service processes, maintenance workflows, and operational practices.
• Support service order processing, maintenance planning, scheduling, and field execution activities.
• Perform functional testing, defect resolution, and business process validation.
• Develop functional specifications, configuration documentation, process flows, and training materials.
• Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, integrations, and reporting requirements.
• Participate in workshops, stakeholder meetings, project discussions, and daily stand-ups.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training activities, and post-go-live support.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing functional support.
• Configure and support SAP Plant Maintenance processes including:
  • Maintenance notifications
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Service order management
  • Task lists and work centres
  • Asset and maintenance management
• Support data migration, master data setup, cutover planning, and deployment activities.
• Recommend process improvements and SAP best practice solutions.

About You

You will bring strong functional SAP expertise along with excellent stakeholder engagement and problem solving skills.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working with SAP HANA SCM PM.
• Strong hands on SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) configuration and support experience.
• Knowledge of Field Service Management (FSM) processes and service lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management business processes.
• Experience with:
  • Service orders
  • Maintenance notifications
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Work centres
  • Task lists
  • Asset management
• Experience integrating SAP PM with modules such as:
  • Materials Management (MM)
  • Sales & Distribution (SD)
  • Customer Service (CS)
  • FSM solutions
• Ability to prepare functional specifications and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Experience across testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
