Delivery Analyst - Agile, Business Analysis, Stakeholder Management, Business Applications, UAT

Our leading UK law firm client are actively looking to take on a newDelivery Analyst (Agile, Business Analysis, Stakeholder Management, Business Applications, UAT) to join their team on a permanent basis, the firm have tripled in size over the last 5 years and plan for continued growth, this role will work closely with the hiring manager in a newly created function which will help to grow the team and embed the Agile methodology across a team of nearly 30 individuals.

To be considered for this this role will work closely with the hiring manager in a newly created function which will help to grow the team role, it's ideal that you have:

  • 2-5 years within a similar role (Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Agile methodologist)
  • Ideal but not required law-firm experience
  • Proven experience with the Agile methodology

Key Responsibilities

Shape the work

  • Act as the first point of contact for new demand coming into the Business Applications team, triaging requests and working with stakeholders to understand what they really need.
  • Refine business asks into clear, well-formed user stories with acceptance criteria that are ready for development.
  • Capture non-functional considerations (security, performance, licensing, data) alongside functional requirements.
  • Curate and maintain a healthy backlog, keeping it prioritised, sized and free of duplication in partnership with the business and the Portfolio Lead.

Run the work

  • Run the sprint cadence for the Business Applications team; planning, stand-ups, refinement, review and retrospective.
  • Manage dependencies between the Business Applications team and other parts of Applications (Dev Squad, Data & Architecture, Finance Systems, Platform & Infrastructure).
  • Track and surface delivery metrics; throughput, velocity, sprint health. To give the team and the wider business a clear view of progress.
  • Own risks, issues and blockers, escalating where appropriate and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Use Azure DevOps and Mondaycom as the primary tools for backlog, sprint and delivery tracking.

Land the work

  • Design and coordinate UAT; building test plans, briefing business testers, tracking defects and driving sign-off.
  • Communicate back out to the business throughout the delivery cycle, so there are no surprises at release.
  • Support release readiness, user comms, training notes and post-release hyper care.
  • Champion a "minimum loveable product" mindset; prioritising things users will actually value, not just the minimum that ships.
  • Feed learnings from retros and releases back into how the team works, helping us continuously improve.
