Trainee Recruitment Consultant

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Trainee Recruiter here at BIM Recruiter, based in our office in Enniskillen, with full training provided, no prior recruitment experience required.

About BIM Recruiter: we're a specialist recruitment consultancy focused on the built environment, working across construction, engineering, and increasingly the European data centre construction market, connecting top technical talent with leading projects.

About the Role: we're looking for an ambitious, driven individual to join our growing team. You'll be trained from the ground up in recruitment, covering candidate sourcing, boolean search techniques, client relationship building, and full recruitment life cycle management, with a route to becoming a specialist consultant.

Key Responsibilities: sourcing and screening candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, and boolean search strings, building and maintaining relationships with candidates and clients, managing the recruitment process from first contact through to placement, learning the construction and engineering markets we recruit into, and hitting agreed activity and performance targets during training.

Recruitment is a sales-focused role, you will be required to cold call companies, offering our services, as well as use email, video marketing techniques. You must be very comfortable and confident speaking on the phone.

What we're looking for: strong communication skills, both written and verbal, a resilient, competitive, and self motivated attitude, someone coachable and eager to learn a proper trade, and confidence picking up the phone and having conversations. Previous sales, customer service, or graduate experience is a bonus but not essential.
