RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Developer in Houston, TX.

Summary:
The Technical Lead with architecture experience will be responsible for designing and governing scalable, secure, resilient, and low-latency technology solutions that support CenterPoint Energy's Outage to Restoration (OTR) products. This role partners with Product Managers, Engineering Teams, Operations, and Business Stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer and operational experiences while aligning solutions with enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead architecture and technical design for OTR applications and integrations
* Provide technical leadership across product planning, design, development, and delivery
* Design high-performing, highly available, and resilient cloud-native solutions
* Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices
* Support outage event scalability and low-latency customer experiences
* Collaborate with Product Managers, Scrum Teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
* Evaluate emerging technologies and AI capabilities to support future business needs
* Lead architecture reviews and mentor development teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
