Job Description
OVERVIEW: We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Geospatial Engineer to design, develop, and maintain web-based GIS and imagery applications. This role involves working across the full technology stack to deliver high-quality, user-focused geospatial solutions in support of mission-critical objectives.
GENERAL DUTIES
- Design, build, and maintain all layers of the technology stack for web-based GIS and imagery applications.
- Develop intuitive, user-centric applications using human-centered design principles and test-driven development methodologies.
- Process and manage high-resolution imagery formats, including CIB, DPPDB, and orthorectified mosaics.
- Apply expertise in geospatial technologies and open-source tools to solve complex technical challenges.
- Implement cybersecurity best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment, working both independently and as part of a small, high-performing team to achieve mission goals.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within small, collaborative teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for leveraging AI/ML technologies to drive innovation in the geospatial domain.
- Technical Expertise with the following:
- Geospatial & Imagery:
- Esri Suite (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, Experience Builder, Workflow Manager)
- SOCET GXP
- OGC standards, datums, and map projections
- Imagery products such as CIB and DPPDB
- Programming Languages:
- Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL
- Web Development:
- React.js, Node.js, .NET Framework
- RESTful API design and development
- Databases:
- PostgreSQL / PostGIS
- DevOps & Tools:
- GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Jira
- Windows and Linux environments DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with GEOINT production workflows and product management systems.
- Strong understanding of photogrammetry principles.
- Familiarity with GDATM and CDATM.
CLEARANCE
- Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility to gain a CI Polygraph
