Job Description

Front End Web Developer | Hybrid | 3 month outside contract £400-450/day

The Role

Our client is looking for a mid-level Front End Web Developer to join their engineering team and help build high-quality, performant web applications across their growing product portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with designers and engineers to turn Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive, production-ready interfaces.


What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain web applications using HTML, JavaScript, and Node.js
  • Develop single page applications (SPAs) with clean, modular, maintainable code
  • Translate Figma designs into accurate, high-quality front-end code
  • Write performant, responsive, cross-browser compatible front-end code
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product stakeholders to deliver features end-to-end
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end tooling, workflows, and documentation
  • Test, debug, and maintain live applications, fixing bugs and shipping incremental improvements


What They're Looking For

  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and Node.js
  • Proven experience turning Figma (or similar) designs into production-ready code
  • Experience building single page applications (SPAs)
  • Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Comfortable collaborating with designers, developers, and non-technical stakeholders
  • A methodical, detail-oriented approach to writing and testing code
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven attitude
