Junior Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Junior Data Engineer in Plano, TX.

Duties:

• Responsible for the design, structure, and maintenance of data, usually organized in a relational database
• Ensures the accuracy and accessibility of data relevant to an organization or a project; The management and organization of data is highly technical and requires advanced skills with computers and proficiency with data-oriented computer languages such as SQL and XML
• Additionally, a data architect likely needs to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff

REQUIREMENTS:

• Python experience
• ETL pipeline development experience
• Data modeling experience
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Possess superior analytical skills and be detail-oriented
• Must exhibit advanced visualization skills, as well as creative problem-solving
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and business teams

Preferred Skills:

• DBT experience
• Snowflake experience
• AWS experience
• Experience optimizing data workflows
• Experience working with batch data pipelines
• Exposure to enterprise data environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
