The Role

• Independently manage procurement activities from quote phase and supplier comparisons to contract conclusion and full order process support.
• Lead price and deadline negotiations and professionally engage with suppliers at various decision-making levels.
• Ensure smooth, quality-compliant, and budget-adherent purchasing processes.
• Collaborate closely with technical departments on requirements, project developments, and potential product alternatives.
• Drive the development and optimization of purchasing processes, systems, and supplier structures with a focus on efficiency and cost reduction.
• Address quality deviations in the procurement environment and coordinate measures for root cause analysis.

What You'll Need

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in a related environment, such as purchasing, production planning, or project management.
• Strong understanding of technical processes and the ability to quickly grasp new topics.
• Aptitude for developing new ideas and solutions and integrating them into existing processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken, for international collaboration.
