Babcock is growing, and we're looking for a proactive and highly organised Office and Facilities Coordinator to join our team at our Pitt Street Office. Reporting to the National Facilities Manager, this role is about much more than facilities management - you'll be the central point of contact for office operations, workplace support and administrative coordination, helping ensure our people have a safe, functional and well supported environment in which to work.
As the Office and Facilities Coordinator, you'll take ownership of the day to day management of our leased site, ensuring it meets operational requirements, complies with health, safety and regulatory standards, and reflects the professional standards of our organisation. You'll coordinate maintenance activities, contractor management, repairs and compliance obligations, while also supporting space planning, office layout optimisation and site presentation.
In addition to facilities responsibilities, this role has a strong focus on office management and administration. You'll become the go to person within the office for a wide range of administrative support and employee requests. Whether it's ordering stationery and office supplies, coordinating office services, raising purchase orders, managing vendor relationships, arranging office equipment, supporting onboarding activities or helping employees with day to day workplace needs, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.

To be successful, you will bring- Australian Citizen with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
- Demonstrated experience in facilities coordination, office management or site based operational support.
- Experience coordinating contractors, maintenance activities and workplace services.
- Experience working in a multi stakeholder environment, ideally within a corporate or regulated setting.
- Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Business Administration or a related discipline desirable, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
