Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to support a highly visible Business mobile initiative in partnership. This role will help guide a new mobile platform offering from launch into rapid scale mode, with a focus on operational excellence, cross-functional delivery, and stakeholder alignment across enterprise-level teams.
The hiring manager is a Senior Principal Technical Product Manager focused on mobile delivery. The team is small but covers a broad portfolio, working across stakeholder organizations to deliver critical mobile capabilities. Significant launch work has already been completed over the past 6–9 months, including a soft launch in April and a national launch on June 10. The next phase requires a strong delivery leader who can bring structure, visibility, and execution discipline as the program scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project and program management activities as the initiative transitions from launch phase into rapid scale and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate delivery across business sponsors, sales, operations, development teams, and global cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ensure all program workstreams, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables are clearly tracked and moving forward.
  • Support deployment planning for added features, platform enhancements, and ongoing mobile capabilities.
  • Ramp quickly on business functions and operating models to anticipate scheduling conflicts, risks, and delivery blockers.
  • Identify, document, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to the appropriate leadership chain.
  • Create clear, concise status updates, executive-ready summaries, and program communications for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive alignment across teams by facilitating meetings, following up on action items, and maintaining accountability for delivery commitments.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong Project Management or Program Management experience supporting enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholder groups and competing priorities.
  • Experience working with business, operations, sales, product, and technical/development teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to absorb complex information and present it clearly and concisely.
  • Strong executive presence and comfort operating in a highly visible, people-facing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to foresee risks, scheduling issues, and delivery gaps before they impact program outcomes.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable bringing structure to fast-moving or ambiguous environments.
  • Experience using Smartsheet and Jira to manage plans, dependencies, risks, and delivery status.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with mobile, telecom, wireless, device, promotional, or carrier-related programs.
  • Background supporting mobile platform launches, new product introductions, or post-launch scale initiatives.
  • Familiarity with wireless, or telecom operating environments.
  • Experience working in partnership-driven initiatives involving external vendors or strategic business partners.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an enterprise-level Project/Program Manager who can quickly understand a complex mobile business initiative, build trusted relationships across stakeholder groups, and keep all moving parts on track. This person should be comfortable working with senior leaders, business sponsors, sales and operations partners, and technical delivery teams. Strong soft skills are critical, including communication, executive presence, follow-through, and the ability to translate detailed program activity into clear leadership updates.
